Crystals come in all shapes and sizes. Some have natural facets and points, others are rounded and smooth. Some form Clusters, others stand alone. There are crystals that are formed in layers and others that are formed in bubbles. Some occur naturally, others are artificially cut to precise shape. Each shape has its own attributes and application. Knowing how to use these different shapes opens the way to magical possibilities.
Point -
Many crystals have points, some large and some so small they can hardly be seen with the naked eye. Points may be natural or artificially shaped. A single crystal has a definite faceted, pointed end and the other end tends to look ragged where it has been seperated from a cluster base. A single crystal point is often used in healing. Pointed away from the body, it draws energy off. Pointed inward, it channels energy to the body.
